What is it?
The Online-Projects system is simple, intuitive, web-based system for organizing and managing documentation and information on engineering projects. In essence it is:
• A repository for documents and information
• A web portal
• A communications and collaboration hub
• An organizer of information

There are two products:
• The Company Site – a general reference to multiple Company projects less than $500k engineering fee, business development proposals, and standard office procedures. An overview of the Company site can be seen here.
• The Dedicated Project Site – designed specifically to handle single, large projects greater than $500k engineering fee. An overview of the Dedicated Project site can be seen here.

What can you do with it?
We foresee many enhancements and new feature for future releases, but the following list summarizes what you can currently do.
• Upload and download files for sharing and collaboration
• Categorize and tag documents for searching
• Create, send, and monitor transmittals of documents (all versions)
• Assign and monitor action items and engineering tasks
• Prepare bid inquiries and expedite purchase orders
• Track progress and expenditures on projects, inquiries, purchase orders and contracts
• Organize email
• Create and discuss forum topics
• Create opinion polls
• Publish news articles
• Create archives for document custody transfer
